Please do not attach photographs of your child. They are never needed to solve a problem, and Campfire is built so that they never leave your phone.

Common questions

• Reminders are not arriving. Open Nudges in parent mode. If a banner there asks for permission, tap it — the switches can be on while iOS is still blocking the notifications themselves. If iOS has already been told no, the banner will point you to Settings → Notifications → Campfire, which is the only place that can be undone.
• Yesterday's steps are still ticked. The day closes when the app is next opened or brought back to the foreground. If it was left open overnight, switching away and back will roll it over.
• I changed a routine and the streak looks wrong. It should not be. Each day is judged against the routine as it stood on that day, so adding or removing a step today never changes whether a past day counted. If you see otherwise, please write in.
• Sparks were spent but nothing happened. Spending sparks adds the treat to the parent's waiting for you list. Campfire cannot hand over an extra bedtime story — that part is yours.
• Reduced motion and transparency. Campfire follows the iOS Accessibility settings for both. Turning them on removes the celebration animations and the frosted panels.
• Can I move my family to a new phone? Not yet. Everything is stored on the device and there is no account to sign into, so there is nothing to transfer. This is the trade for never uploading a child's name or face.

Deleting everything

Family → Reset everything clears every child, spark, badge, memory and photograph on the device and returns the app to setup. Deleting the app does the same. There is no undo and no recovery, because there is no copy anywhere else.
